The Mountains Are Calling and I Must Go

Here is a photo of my latest work in progress. It is a two color linoleum reduction cut of one of my favorite John Muir quotes. This summer I was fortunate to travel to Alaska with my family. There I saw first hand the beauty and wildness he described. One of my favorite days was spent in Glacier Bay National Park. These beautiful gulls soared all around us. This print is a feeble attempt to honor that time I spent in Alaska. I have the next layer carved and hopefully I can print the last color this week. Look for it showing up in my Etsy shop.
